Certified by USBC - ADULT BOWLERS ONLY - ALL BOWLERS must have a current USBC membership card for participation. Average to be used is the highest 2021-2022 average as shown on bowl.com or if your current average of 21 or more games is 10 pins higher than the average shown on bowl.com you must bowl with it. Rule 319a(2) 10 Pin Rule is in effect.

AVERAGE TO BE USED:

A. Highest 2021-2022 Average (Winter or Summer) with 21 or more games. Composite averages will not be accepted.

B. Bowlers without an eligible average will be allowed to use a 2022-2023 league average with a minimum of 30 games as of 03/03/23.

YOU MUST PROVIDE A LEAGUE STANDING SHEET(S) TO SHOW PROOF OF YOUR CURRENT AVERAGE

C. Rule 319a(2) Ten Pin Rule is in effect.

D. Bowlers without an acceptable average will use a 215 scratch average. (Rule 319b)

E. The minimum entering average to determine handicap is 125. Bowlers with less than a 125 average may bowl but handicap will be based
on 125.

ALL BOWLERS MUST UPLOAD A COPY OF AVERAGE VERIFICATION FROM BOWL.COM WHEN REGISTERING. DO NOT USE A SCREENSHOT TO UPLOAD YOUR AVERAGES.

1. Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average. Failure to use the correct average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than correct average thereby resulting in more handicap. Prize winnings will be based on submitted average if it is higher than correct average, however corrections in averages may be permitted up to the completion of the first game of the first series.

2. Handicap: 90% of 215 for men and women. The maximum score for a handicap game during match play shall be 300.

3. Tournament Director reserves the right to re-rate (USBC Rule 319c). If the bowler does not accept the re-rated average, entry fee shall be refunded. Any bowler winning $300 or more in any tournament in the last twelve (12) months must report amount and scores to the Tournament Director for possible re-rating (USBC Rule 319d).

4. Registration will be through the online system only. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ENTRIES - A BOWLER CAN TRANSFER TO ANOTHER BOWLER. Entry deadline 30 minutes before each Squad time. Multiple entries allowed; however bowlers may cash only once (Rule 315).

FAILURE TO TURN IN YOUR RECAP SHEET TO THE TOURNAMENT OFFICE MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF SCORES.

5. Qualifying – Saturday, March 11, 2023 (maximum 108 bowlers per squad) Bowl 3 games, top 64 bowlers advance to semi-finals.

Squad Times: Saturday - A – 9:30 am; B – 12:00 pm; C - 3:00 pm; D - 5:30 pm

6. Lanes will be assigned for qualifying, semi-nals and elimination. (REQUESTS TO BOWL TOGETHER MAY NOT BE HONORED)

7. ALL ties (including nals) to be determined by one (1) game roll-off.

IF ROLL-OFF IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THE 64 SEMI-FINALISTS, IT WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 9:30 AM SUNDAY, March 12, 2023.

8. SEMI-FINALS – Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. ***33rd Position will receive free entry for August 2023 Tournament.

All semifinalists who did not advance to match play must pick up their cash prize money. Money not picked up will be forfeited.

9. SEMI-FINALS - Sunday, March 12, 2023 following semi-finals. 32 bowlers will draw for brackets and bowl 2 game matches

      • 16 losers eliminated ------------16 winners bowl 2 game matches
      • 8 losers eliminated --------------8 winners bowl 2 game matches
      • 4 losers eliminated --------------4 winners bowl 2 game matches
      • 2 losers eliminated --------------2 winners bowl 2 game matches for championship
      • Early withdrawals from any finals match without approval of the Tournament Director will not be allowed. Prize money subject to forfeiture.
